I began my fitness journey in high school, working out with a personal trainer over the summers for basketball. However, I faced significant setbacks with three major injuries: a tibia fracture in my left leg during sophomore year, a hairline fracture on my ankle in my junior year, and a torn ACL and meniscus in my right knee during my senior year.
After my final injury in high school, I became deeply interested in working out. I always felt that each injury held me back from reaching my physical potential, making me feel weak and overlooked because of my size. I didn't want to feel weak or be perceived as weak; I wanted to stand out as someone strong and confident.
So, once I graduated, I dedicated myself to working out. I started by exercising in my room with dumbbells and a pull-up bar. With months of consistent training and proper nutrition, I began to see results. Eventually, I decided to get a gym membership.
From my basketball days and injury recoveries, I knew I could work hard. The only things I needed to do were stay consistent and eat the right foods. This dedication transformed me, and now I'm committed to helping others achieve their fitness goals as well.
